Tattoo services start at 18+ and 21+ for tattoos on these body placements: fingers, hands, neck, nape, head, ears and face. A valid form of I.D must be provided for these procedures.

Many factors effect the price of a tattoo. Pricing starts at £80, and can increase depending on size, detail and body placement. Please fill out our booking request form to receive a free time and price quote.

When you get tattooed, you are creating a fresh wound. You must take care of it once you leave the studio, in order to achieve best results. We will talk you through aftercare during your appointment, and you will receive a written aftercare sent to your email after you sign a consent form. If you do not follow aftercare advice, you may pull some of the ink and lighten the tattoo. Especially with finer work, there can even be instances where you will almost completely pull the ink and the tattoo will look patchy. This rarely happens, but is a possibility with poor aftercare. Please follow advice and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

We offer a free retouch if booked within 3 months of receiving the tattoo. Prices start from £50 for a retouch, when requested outside of this time frame.

Working out too soon after getting tattooed can lead to further swelling and potentially infection. For best healing results, please wait till your tattoo is fully healed before practicing vigorous exercise. Healing looks different for everyone so please listen to your body and don’t push yourself.

Showers are fine, but you do not want to soak your fresh tattoo for long periods of time, as this environment can lead to ink pulling and needing a retouch when it’s healed. Please wait till your tattoo is fully healed before swimming.

Although for some people, tattoos can heal rather quickly, it is best to wait a minimum of 6 weeks before exposing your new tattoo to sun. This is to ensure best results, as sun exposure can effect the colour of your tattoo. Please also wear a minimum of factor 50 sun cream to keep your tattoos looking fresh forever once healed. Please do not book your tattoo if it will still be healing during a beach vacation.

Tattooing over scars is case dependant and we require it to be well healed for a minimum of 1-2 years depending on the scar. This is due to the fact that the tattoo process can cause further scarring, even by the lightest touch. We will discuss all possibilities with you over an in person consultation.

Vana works predominantly with black ink, and on occasion uses an accent colour as a highlight. We do not offer full colour tattoos.

Yes we do, however, we tend to work in the limits of patternwork and ornamental. For booking enquiries, please fill out our booking request form for a free time and price quote.

Hand and finger tattoos have an age restriction of 21+. These tattoos do not look the same as other areas of the body that are more stretched out like arms and legs. They have higher potential for longer healing times and potential to need a second session to retouch any potential dropout of ink. We have stricter aftercare routines advised for this placement due to this, so please do not book this unless you can take some time off from using your hands for the following 1-3 days. This means no use of gloves, or soaking of the hands such as dishwashing.

Highly visible placements have an age restriction of 21+. These tattoos generally have quite a quick healing rate, and can really change how you look on a much more dramatic scale than other areas of the body that tend to be hidden. Please consider this before booking in for a placement like this, and how it will effect all areas of your life including work possibilities, relationships and how you are viewed by the general public.

We love to take on cover ups when we can, but please note that the style we work in isn’t always suitable for a cover up, and it may be suggested to get a few sessions of laser tattoo removal to lighten the piece first in order to cover it effectively.

No we do not.
