My name is Vana, and I tattoo at and co-own Chant Adornments.

The art of tattooing is a creative and technical procedure that challenges the limits of the body in order to create a collaborative piece that will be worn forever.

I was first introduced to practicing tattooing in 2010, and first chose to specialise in geometric and dotwork tattooing in 2013. My techniques often involve building tone, contrast and form through the build up of many individual dots. I find geometric art compliments the natural form of the body, whilst maintaining aesthetically pleasing compositions. I tattoo in a private and inclusive safe space, and will work at whatever pace we need to in order to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

My main influences are sacred geometry, patterned textiles and Middle Eastern iconography. I am up to date trained in First Aid, Infection Control and Covid-19 in the workplace.
